Kuşun sağlığının her şeyden önce geldiğini her zaman dikkate almalıyız. 3.

The committee of the TYCC
Dear Sirs,
I had the privilege of judging the Istanbul Show with Mr. Oliver Quinn and Mr. Paul Roper.
It was the first time we had seen your new show cage on display, we were pleased to see at last the conformity of the cages instead of the mix match of
cages in the past Well Done!
However we would like you to consider adding a third perch at the seed hopper end of the cage, above the edge of the hopper, we feel a bird jumping down onto the sharp edger could harm the birds foot .We must always consider the birds welfare first above any thing else. We feel not having this perch could cause damage to birds foot I noticed some birds whilst I was judging holding up their foot as though they were in pain I’m not saying it was caused by the sharp edge on the hopper I don’t think it would have helped when the bird went down to feed. (When the UK cage was designed the third perch was included both for the birds welfare and to make the cage look balanced.)
Also, would the committee consider placing the drinker next to the bottom perch as standard, as many of the cages have the drinker placed next to the top perch which is very off putting when trying to judge the birds, also would you consider changing to a black drinker as used in UK.
I wish your club every success for the future, it’s always a pleasure to visit your shows and see the advances you have made since my first visit well done and keep up the good work.
My best wishes
George Weeks
